By registering for Grounds for Optimism you now have access to all the resources you need to develop a successful submission and gain a Grounds for Optimism Bronze Award for your school.


10 Bronze Award schools per region will receive a Silver Award and access to free support from a landscape architect to develop their designs and refine and cost them.


Winners of Silver Award grants will be invited to a regional event to present their final plans and be judged by a panel of top professionals. The design in each region judged to be the best will receive a Gold Award, a superb trophy and fantastic 3D CAD software for their school from Vectorworks and Computers Unlimited worth over £3,000 (over £40,000 commercially).


Additionally, there will be one Green Award chosen for the design which encompass the best ideas regarding sustainability and the environment.  The winning school will receive a superb trophy and a full Sustainabilty and Renewals Report from XCO2 Energy (Carbon Engineers) worth over £5,000.
