Step 4: Your Submission

If you have followed Steps 1-3, and completed the checklist as you have gone along, you will be well on the way to having all the information you need to make your submission.

It will be helpful to think of your submission as a creative design brief to prepare you to work with a landscape architect, as well as a communication with the judges.

Your submission will be in 2 parts:

Part 1 – Application form. This will include your head teacher’s endorsement of your chosen space or theme. It will tell the story of Step 1 and include your initial ’vision’. It will also show us how you approached Steps 2 & 3 and who you involved.

Part 2 – Your slide show. This will tell us about the space or theme that you chose as your focus and explain how you reached that decision. It will present your creative concepts but should NOT attempt a detailed design.
